TehMove - Mobile Application
TehMove is a mobile application that helps users find the best route to their destination by considering real-time traffic. The app suggests different transportation options — including taxi, metro, bus, and BRT — to make traveling across the city faster and more convenient.
To better understand user behavior and needs, I designed a questionnaire using Porsline. The survey focused on how frequently people in Tehran use public transportation, which modes of transport they prefer (metro, bus, taxi, BRT, etc.), and how easy it is for them to access information such as routes, schedules, and costs. The collected data helped me identify key user needs and pain points, which later guided the design decisions for TehMove.

Based on the survey data, I created a user persona to represent the target audience and their needs. This helped me better understand user goals, pain points, and behaviors.

To dive deeper into the user’s experience, I also built an empathy map, capturing what users say, think, feel, and do when navigating public transport. These steps provided valuable insights that guided the design decisions in the next phases.

Next, I sketched paper wireframes for the application. Each screen was designed with the user’s needs in mind, focusing on clarity, accessibility, and ease of navigation. These wireframes allowed me to quickly explore layout ideas and address user requirements before moving to the digital stage.

Finally, I moved from the paper wireframes to Figma, where I developed the full design. At this stage, I added the color palette, typography, animations, and interactive prototypes, ensuring a polished and user-friendly experience.

For the color system, I used Adobe Color with the Split Complementary method to choose the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. Then, I built the full palette in UI Colors, including natural shades as well as success, warning, and error states derived from the same spectrum.
